@Here you find a Filetype file for KDE2 for uade-0.30:

File:
=====

x-uade.desktop:
---------------
The naming normally follows, instead of MSDOS, the original Amiga way of
naming the sound files: Prefix.Filename.

E.g. for an "Art of Noise" file, it's "AON.Draconus" so the Pattern Entry is
for it: AON.*;

x-uade(dos).desktop:
--------------------
The file is a desktop file for KDE2 that follows the Microsoft convention
of naming a file Filename.Suffix for people who need it.

Installation:
=============

Copy the desktop file of your choice or maybe even both into your...

	.kde2/share/mimelnk/audio

...folder and run...

	kded --check

in an xterm, then, to update the mimetype for your current KDE2 session.

Notes:
======

Ok, you won't get any support on both files from us. :)

For one reason I personally don't use the x-uade(dos).desktop file and for
the other there's a now compile time option for uade to enable an option
in the xmms-plugin creating a x-uade.desktop file from the current
uadeformats file on demand.

Anyway have fun,

Michael "mld" Doering@
